DIII Championships at Easton. Seeded 4th in the slower of two sections of the mile. Pat and Eric were in the same heat as me. A good race. Got out ok and tucked inside, slid up in lane 1 as people moved out to pass. Got into second, right on Pat C's shoulder, over the first two laps. I think we were a little off of 4:40 pace. We pretty much held these positions for the rest of the race. I think I might have taken first at one point in lap 3, but he passed me back. With 300 to go I tried to make my final surge, but couldn't pass him before the corner and was forced to tuck back in. He ended up running 4:43. Eric got 4:48 for 4th.
The meet went well for Pembroke. Wes and Pony went 1-2 in the mile, with Christian picking up 5th in 4:34! Ryan and Joe got 2nd in the 2 mile and 800, respectively. The 4x800 also won. The boys and girls both came in 2nd to Bishop Feehan.
