CV Fartlek w/ Jake! Emulating a track workout of 4x200 @ I, 7x800 @ CV, 4x200 @ R - we did 4x35s w/ 60s jog, 7x0.5 mile w/ 90s jog, 4x35s w/ 90 s jog. Some astute readers may question "but isn't Jake's CV pace different than yours?" Naturally! I just ran slower (at least on 2-6). I ended up running for the same time as Jake but since I was running slower, my ons were naturally shorter than 800m in most cases. This was a good workout, got in some hard running but didn't feel out of control and I felt strong on the 200s after. Running "fast" on the roads was tough, but I felt like the effort was right. Started too fast on some. Gonna have to run early the next two mornings, then hopefully I can get in another semi-structured workout on Friday or Saturday and a decent long run Sunday... we'll see.
