After a 3 day hiatus, got back at it today with some easy running. Fun run, just went where the winds blew me... although they didn't blow me anywhere too crazy. Legs felt totally fine, surprisingly not sore at all. I was definitely as beat up as I've ever been after the race Sunday, and I had trouble moving around even on Monday, but by Tuesday it just felt like normal soreness following a hard day and I was g2g by yesterday. Only thing I noticed was a funny sensation behind my left kneecap, but not painful. Also, I've had some mild pain in the top of my right groin-ish when doing lunges for the past two weeks or so. Anyways, immediate plan is to get back in a good routine of running and push the miles up as I feel ready for it. Will probably keep around a quality day now and then to keep things interesting but focus is on easy volume. I basically should have lost no fitness since my last 5k and I don't see any need to lose any.
