Workout stats: Time-16:53 Distance-4800k Pace-5:40

A good workout. My first track workout of the indoor season. The XC guys aren't running hard yet, so I was in a group with Eric, Mikey D, Greg, Jesse, and a few others. I was supposed to be running faster than Eric and Greg, who were given times to hit of about 3:45 per 1000. Our first was really slow, and really easy... I wasn't fatigued at all after it. We got out too slow on the next two, which made them a little panicky to hit a good time by running a faster second half, but they still weren't very hard. On the last one, Z had Mikey D lead, who took us through about 800 meters on a good pace before I stepped in to help on the last 200. This was the only interval that was tiring, and a lot of that may have come simply from the fact that I wasn't leading. Still, the pace on the last interval was tolerable. The 200s were good. I led all 4 in what felt like a fast but comfortable pace, focused on driving the arms when I came off the corner. Andre kind of challenged me on the last 2, I tried not to really try and "race" him while still maintaining control. A good workout for me today.
