Dual meet at home vs Silver Lake. We ended up tying- very competitive meet. Ran the 800, with two good SL kids, Wes, Pony, and Christian. Got a good start, getting out strong on the curve into 4th- 5th. Let the leaders gain a bit of a gap over the next 300 meters. Christian passed me going into the second lap (63). Really tried to push over the net lap, trying to go with Christian. He gained ground on me, but I kept it close. I focused on driving my arms and trying to empty the well over the last 150, and I knew when I finished that I had ran a good race. Pretty excited that I PRed- looking forward to running the mile Saturday at the Weston Twilight Invite.
