Call it a rust buster! Night at the track mile 4:53.59
Oof! Not to sure what happened there. Didn’t necessarily think my made-up seed time of 4:42 was the best target, but certainly expected to run faster than the easy 4:51 at practice last week! Was at the back of the field for heat 2, which really should have been fine, but I felt totally flat. Perhaps it was the night race after not having caffeine all day? Don’t really know, not going to read too much into this. Maybe just psyched out.
