P2M 2014!

Race director Drew assembled a LOADED field! Despite PRing by ~40 seconds (18:51 total time) only got 5th place behind Paul, Brian, Dylan, and JOEY. I took water this year to try and improve my pizza splits, but it just didn't help that much. First one was ok and went out hard in the 800 to stay in contention. But then all my pizza splits after that were SLOWW.

Last year my 800s totaled 10:06 and I ran 10:02 in the steeple, so this year's 9:32 must -> 9:28! It's just math.

You should have slowed by 5 sec a lap and you could have competed for the win! You broke the gastrointestinal threshold. You forced your blood to go to your muscles too much and not enough to your stomach! Paul had it just right. Anyways, i have seen slower 800s in races from you than 2:16, so thats a good sign. May need to change Tuesdays workout now since you guys basically did half of it after a 2 hour run.
