Run #7 on the marathon course. Solo nighttime run, slept in realll late this morning after watching Trev play til midnight at KKatie's in Plymouth. He sounds awesome! Excellent LR, best since my run in Nisky over a month ago. Need these consistently, LRs have to be the staple of marathon training! Felt great considering the race yesterday, didn't want to go crazy but felt pretty strong the entire time. It helped that it was nice and cool weather.

83 miles this week, I was thinking I could get more (hurt by the Pats game Thursday) but this is still pretty good for a week with a race. If I can keep my miles up in the 80s for race weeks, and then maybe 90s + for non-race weeks, that would be pretty good volume for the fall, then through the winter I can hopefully push it a little higher (will be tough, of course). Feeling like I am back on track a bit, happy with yesterday's race and despite a few rough Tuesday workouts I have strung together a whole 2 weeks without any interruptions! Here's to two more!
