Legs felt fine this morning, although they were feeling sore yesterday afternoon a couple hours after my run. So I thought it was important to make sure this was truly an easy run.

Shins felt a little stiff the first mile or so.

Felt good that I was able to slow it down. At the start of the 5th mile I was really feeling good and the legs really wanted to start moving fast, but kept it within reason.

The weekly plan had this as either a rest day before my flight or 10 miles. Didn't get up early enough to run 10, but was happy to see the rain held off this morning, so was able to run outside before getting ready to head to the airport.
