Notes

Wasn't sure what I could do today with the sore abs.

So I parked at Station Camp HS and did a half mile warmup on the greenway. I felt the abs were going to be good enough to be able to get a good run in. So I started the venture up Saundersville Road and went past the peek of the hill which takes 2 miles to reach. Went down the hill, turned back around and then went back up hill. Took a turn left on the one subdivision, but realized that was too early for the Country Hills extension. When I hard the big dog, I turned back to Saundersville Road and then went up to Spy Glass.

I stayed pretty tough on the hills both on the Country Hills extension and on Saundersville Road. Some of hills were tough to go down hill and felt rough on the knees. I couldn't run with a good stride down hill they were so steep.

Had to dodge some dogs. They seem to keep on their yard, but I had the pepper spray in hand.

Got back to Station Camp HS and did another 3.5 miles on the greenway to make it a 10 mile run.

Pleased I could run 10 miles at a good pace the day after I could barely jog. Might need to start some regular core strengthening for the abs as they have plagued me for a long time. Weak hip flexors maybe.
