Yesterday I decided I was going to try for at least 9 hours per night in bed for the next 12 weeks leading to Boston to ensure I am getting sufficient rest and give the body what it needs to recover.
Sunday night sleep: 9 hours
I felt much better and less fatigued today. After about 1.1 miles all of a sudden I felt like there were pins pricking at the right side of my knee. Not like real big pain, but something I had not felt before. A couple times I stopped and walked a bit and restarted and it would come right back. Decided to walk the 1.25 miles back to the car and try later.
Ran later and never felt a thing.
