64 and overcast at start - way better than the thunderstorms predicted!
Luckily clouds hung around til mile 22! Would have absolutely died had it been sunny... warmed up to 70 by finish.
Hills were INSANE! but course was gorgeous and crowd support was amazing.
Both calves and bottom of left foot started seizing up a little past 23 miles, last bit was killer
FINALLY broke 4 hrs, 5th time's the charm (had been over 7 yrs since 4:02 at Celebration)
Managed a bq by 45 seconds! Feel like could do even better on a flat course...
Followed fueling schedule except drank more plain water from aid stations than maurten from bottle, mainly bc it got warm and sickly sweet, the water was cold and tasted awesome
garmin recorded 26.49 miles, 3:49:17, 8:40 pace
v bummed not to have clocked a 3:38:xx, but need to stop obsessing because getting a 3:49:15 on a super hilly, fairly warm course at 45 is still way better than a 4:02:15 when I was 38 and it was 45 degrees on a flat course...and be happy because I'm alive and able to run at all!
