we went out yellow, maybe 2-2.5 miles and back...she was actually doing her impressive flying trot on the way OUT! maybe b/c the deer flies were so bad and she was trying to get away from them :( anyhow, we cantered both leads a little in the deep sand on the way out, and then on the way home worked on being responsive to requests for less speed, etc...I only had to turn her around three times til she realized i was onto her...for the most part, was walking on the buckle like a good girl :)
