I'm willing to share a bed with anyone, bring my sleeping bag and sleep on the couch or floor - whatever.

If it's okay with you guys, I'd like to invite my buddy, Karen, who lives on the outskirts of Portland proper, over for some of the festivities, as well as drag her along to be a cheer person during the race.  She won't be staying at the house, but she knows I'll be in town, and I'd feel like a butt if I didn't invite her.

              Do you snore?

                Do you snore?

Only when I'm laying in my back, and then only slightly.  I'm a left side of the bed sleeper, though, and I will fight anybody who tries to take that side from me.  Fair warning.

So, here is the count for the party house (is this everyone?):

                          Mike

                          Holly

                          Tammy

                          Leslie

                          Starr

                          Enke/MBE

                          Nancy/EP

                          Econo

                          Tet

Generally at these events the wimmen share beds (with other wimmin), but the men are sometimes a bit awkward about that.  Looks like we need at least 7 beds to accommodate this crowd.  Leslie - we will NOT put you on the floor.

I also have a decent twin air mattress I could bring if necessary.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

                          TammyinGP

since Leslie and I are driving up, it's pretty easy for her and/or I to bring air mattresses. I have a queen one and am totally fine sleeping on that. I think our choices for something near the marathon will be limited, so let's not limit ourselves further by needing a bed for each person.

Since we are having so many people, what do you folks think of this place:

                              https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2332736?checkin=10%2F07%2F2016&checkout=10%2F10%2F2016&guests=7&s=uPMZsmyv

Five bedrooms, 11 beds, and it looks to be less than I a mile from the start/finish, if that is correct.  The plus - beds for everyone.  The minus: ONE bathroom.  Really, ONE bathroom?  Hmmm....still, beds for everyone.....

Actually, given the bathroom situation, I think Rosey's choice may be the best yet.

Darn it - I don't think this one is available on those dates.
