Perch - and yet, both feet are off the ground.    Smile

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Mile 18 at The Tobacco Road Marathon.... getting tough Smile

          Mary,

Great pacing I better watch my back.

Good luck to everyone racing this weekend. Things are starting to get busy around here on the weekends. Spring must be here, Somewhere.

7 miles for me. 1 mile warm up then 8X3 @ RP (7:40) and 3 minutes @ 9:00 pace inbetween in about an hour. Was supposed to do 10 but ran out of time and had to get back to work. Thats ok I am sure I could have finished them given the time.

Orange Mat, if you were a middle aged guy, you wouldn't worry about running after having your hair professionally done.

Crud PBJ...the relay sounds like it would have been fun.

It's kind of nice...getting outta work (rhymes with "jerk") and coming home to a pretty special person. We took the dog out for 40 mins. He tore a very tall dead weed out of the ground. Wouldn't drop it. Played "Gimmie the damn weed". He's been sneezing a lot ever since. He does not get that from my side.

                Hi DG!!!!!

                SteveP

The Hub:  How many miles are you running tomorrow?

                  Me: 26.

The Hub: 26?  You're going to run 26 miles and not run the final 385 yards?!?  (how he knew the yards thing, I have no idea)

Me: Fine.  We'll run the extra 385 yards just for you.

The Hub: You better, or I'll be really pissed at you

                  He's a funny man. Blush
