Happy Birthday ultra-goddess francesca!
It doesn’t get much better than having your 12-yo son tell the class
not to whine over their one-mile physical education requirement
because, “my mother has run 150 miles.”

I agree! Happy Birthday Francesca!
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Running is stupid
Happy happy birthday, Francesca! You're such an inspiration! (And a bad influence...)
I think this is the picture Tet was trying to post:
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
since I didn't run up any of them as Francesca is doing,
I had plenty of time to count 'em and those would appear
to be part of the 100-plus stairs leading up to the top
of the first overlook over Puget Sound.
Happy Birthday Francesca. Have an ultra good time.
Happy Birthday ultra queen! Sorry I came late for the birthday party! I hope you had a great day!

Belated Birthday Wishes!!! Ultragoddess!
"During a marathon, I run about two-thirds of the time. That's plenty." - Margaret Davis, 85 Ed Whitlock regarding his 2:54:48 marathon at age 73, "That was a good day. It was never a struggle."
