You are amazing Francesca! Congratulations on a mighty fine fifty! Nono, Are you planning on selling the old house? I bet it looks great with all the work you've done in the garden. Again, I apologize for overposting today and, yes, Ribs, you are correct about that date.

Awesome runs this weekend. At the risk of a fine, I'll mention yesterday's 9.5 miles. I'm feeling confident about meeting my goals of (1) finishing and (2) not being last on Broad Street in two weeks. Stumpy - congrats on your first lake loop in a while Walt - the pics are beautiful; no worries that they're big; she's beautiful; glad she's home safe and sound Jlynne - congrats on the article Buehrle - when you mentioned lilmissrosie, I remembered your posting before; glad to "see" you again Mariposai - you ARE a running star Deb - thanks for posting the Boston bib #s; I'm taking mom to center city to see the wrist specialist in the morning, but I'm taking my laptop with me - they better have wireless internet in the medical office building Lou- thanks for the link to the pics - perfect "appetizer" for the wannabe before she gets to read everyone's RRs Feeling good after yesterday's long run, but decided to rest today - for lots of energy tomorrow to send good vibes to all of the Boston runners and to read those RRs. Can't wait! Eliz

dear dea, after your slogging through snow on the New Year's Day Marathon and then getting drenching wet in the frozen sleet of nighttime Bridle Trails 50K also in January, you deserved a perfect day, . . . and perfect race 30 minutes faster than you very first ulta ever at last year's Mt Si 50-miler. Not many people choose a 50-miler for their first 50-miler and many who do never come back again. Sorry I missed Mt. Si this year as other needs are delaying the start of my running season but I'm looking forward to some lap-time company again at the Redmond Watershed 12-hour in May and'll be checking Ilene's Intrepid to sign up right away too if you can. Otherwise, don't be too surprised if I'm more interested in what you are mariposai are makin' in the kitchen than in the running part at the Seattle RnR in June. Big grin ps - byoochiful - there was a recent discussion on overposting that you might have missed. Suffice to say that, just like running (or, for some of us, tapering), there's no such thing.

srlopez, I was thinking the same thing about aamos. I laughed when I read your post. Thanks Tet. I realize I have missed a lot of the goings on here. I have modified my posts to be less wordy. You know I've always been a slowly running rambling rose.

dear rambling - whoops, that might be fine material if you know who sees it.

Well, that was the original idea. I seem to be having a hard time letting go of the place. We only owned it for 8 years, but my Dad spent more time in that house than any other place I lived since leaving my parents' house. He died last August, and the fallout from that has taken most of my free time, which would have been spent getting the old house ready for sale. So, we'll see. The events of this weekend give me hope that our family might be back on track. We actually got everything on our to-do lists done. Cool That hasn't happened since we became parents 4+ years ago.
