38.5 miles for March, and every bit of those miles are celebrated by yours truly! Hope to keep building from here.
135 miles for March. Two races and a fall to report. Zydeco Marathon on March 4 turned into a 5 hour slog as the sun got high in the sky. On the 14th I had my first road fall, skinned a knee and an eyebrow. Despite the resulting soreness and black eye, I participated in a 3 mile race on St. Patrick’s Day.
Started running at age 60.
AG 60-64 PR - 5K 25:45, 10K 53:28, HM 1:57:39, Marathon 4:32:09
AG 65-69 PR - 5K 26:11, HM 2:02:39, Marathon 5:04:47
A couple of non-PR races, but I did get to break a banner for being first overall.
And you can quote me as saying I was mis-quoted. Groucho Marx
