fwiw Leslie, I find the turbo tax software programs to be real easy to follow along with - just answer all the questions and it plugs everything into the forms for you. We don't have a small business so have never had to do that type of tax, but I am sure TT has the proper program to guide a self-employed/small business owner. Especially since he doesn't have employees, benefits he's paying, etc. I would think those type of taxes would be the easiest to do for business owners.

More taxes (18) than running (13) today so i'll check in on the former.
After years with H&R Block after I went out on my own,
we decided to do our own too this year when
H&R jumped from $400 - $600 last year, . . .
especially after IRS on their own
refunded 25% of what H&R
had us paying.
good luck.
