Running the 2016 Boston Marathon for Children's Hospital
How'd it go, Pam?
Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson

I posted my event report over in the main forum. I had an awesome time and I have now officially completed 50 miles!
Run to Win25 Marathons, 17 Ultras, 16 States (Full List)
Nice work! I've got a bit over 5 months 'til I get there, more than likely.

Just read your other post. That's one hell/heaven of an experience. CONGRADULATIONS on that huge accomplishment. Good luck on the next one, although I don't think you'll need it.
I'd recommend doing a reverse taper over the next 3 weeks, working back up to whatever mileage you want for your marathon by week 3 or 4. If you want to do speedwork type workouts, then I'd recommend running some fartleks or 1k to 1 mile intervals. If not, then I'd concentrate on the long run at a decent pace and running easy the rest of the week. I wouldn't bother to taper until the last week or week and a half, depending upon how you feel.
