Notes
Despite the heat today was really fun. During practice I mostly ran in the opposite direction so I could keep an eye on what's going on but today I took turns running with specific kids for a lap or at least a stretch of the practice loop. Ben Gill (4th grade) looks really strong and John Paul could be a good runner if he wanted to be. The 2 new sisters (Janelle and Jody Ann) are really strong natural runners (think Lauren Johnson) so I tried encourage them today and pushed them along. Even ran a lap with my nephew who is 7. Connor decided to keep running while everyone else took a break and Liam went with him. Those guys logged 3.8 miles in 32 minutes today and looked strong. It was hot but the kids were great. Landon Gosling could be the 4th grade dark horse. Soccer has served him well.
....Went over 1500 for the year. Could be my first 2k year.
