Even after a day off the legs were tired today. Started at 10 min pace and then up 2 levels every mile. Apparently, the rest of Circle North slept in today.

Nice. At least you are back to some consistent stuff. 5:35AM on the treadmill is some serious mental headgame.

Scorps

My original goal was to run 9, & to keep moving up .2 per mile & finish at level 7.6 for 9 miles to finish under 1:20. My legs just weren't into it today, & I didn't have the mindset to fight through it. I even just jogged the last .4 at a 10 min clip to get this in. But it's something which is better than nothing. Surgery scheduled for Feb 6th & I'm going to try to maintain some level of fitness until then. Or I could just watch college hoops & drink beer everyday. I'm still pondering.
