This is how a parolee must feel after being released from prison. So nice to be outside instead of the sweatshop treadmill room at the Y, and this run mostly felt easy and even. I was a little confused by the house on High Street where leaves covered the snow banks, the front yard, and most of the street in front of the house. This only compounded my confusion when I ran by a lady on School Street who was shoveling her driveway with a sequin tank top on. Based on the smell of carcinogens coming from her driveway I am assuming a cigarette was hanging out of her month but I can neither confirm nor deny that detail because I didn’t have any eyesight enhancing devices on my person.
