I feel like this was almost a recovery run because the legs are still sore from hoop yesterday (although I feel like a giant pussy writing that because of that 12 hr crowd) and I also feel like I am trying to teach myself how to run correctly which is a very strange feeling. Real focus on drawing the foot back before it hits the ground, landing on the mid to front part of my foot, and arm swing. About 2 miles in the toes on the left foot started to feel a little numb so I stopped at the halfway point and loosened up the shoes. That did the trick.

I'm curious where this experiment leads. I've tended to believe the people that say your form finds itself by running more and running fast sometimes and running hills, and that by consciously trying to change that you open yourself up to hurting something else. Not trying to dissuade you but just something to be conscious of if something else starts to hurt. It'll be awesome if it works and I'll want lessons.
