What a difference a day makes. Had some time this morning so I decided to head to the Y to see if I could run for an hour or so. The first 3 miles were at an easy pace, warming up at 10mm, moving to 9:30 for mile 2, and then 9:05 for the 3rd. Podcast pace. Switch to music after 3 miles and then moved to about 8:30 for the 4th mile and essentially picked up the pace by a couple levels every .25. Finish the last 3 in 24:17 and the last mile probably in the low 7s. This is by far the best I’ve felt since Mid-January and the slow-ish warm up really helped. This felt much easier then yesterday and never felt like work until I cranked it up for the last minute of the run to level 10 (I wanted to crank it to 11 in honor of Nigel Tufnel but cooler heads prevailed.)
