Not a lot of time today because of work but I wasn't sure I was going to run anyway so this was a bonus. 1 up, 4 mile progression, 1 down. The short warm up is always a problem for me because the first few miles at a faster pace feel harder than they should. Mile 2 @ 8, 3 @ 7:45, and 4 @ 7:30. .45 into mile 5 @ 7:13 a black cat comes out of nowhere and runs across the workout room. So weird. Then my TM basically shuts down. After almost killing myself, I switch TMs and finish. I finish the last progression mile @ 7:13 and warm down at an even 8 mm pace. This felt better as time went one and wasn’t a super hard workout at all. Tomorrow off and maybe 10 on Sunday. Glad to get this in.
