Notes

It was good to feel the 5k from yesterday on my calves this morning but overall not too stiff. Was somewhat crunched for time this morning and didn't sleep as well as I'd hoped so I needed to be around a 9 mm pace to get home before Kathy left at 745. Felt good, and this felt easy but I know the pace may have been a bit quicker then prescribed especially after the 5k. Nice and cool and great weather to run. I may try to get an easy 4 miles in early tomorrow morning to make up for what I didn't do yesterday. Knee felt good.

L Train

Don't do the 4 to make up the miles - I don't think it works that way. But do it if you feel you need to "get the rust off" as you put it. Sunday's 20 mostly easy/steady. Don't jog around at 10 minute pace purposefully slow, but don't push at all except maybe just to keep a more steady effort at the end.

Scorps

Fair enough. Just didn't want to cheat myself out of miles but we should probably chat about that sometime so I can understand the training rationale. I'll probably shoot for 9:20s - 9:30s (podcast pace) for the first 15, and then work a little more at the end. I've always wanted to run home from Wells Beach and Sunday will be the day. Very cool. Then head over to the open house @ St Thomas.
