No pain today at all and the soreness from the race has gone away. I felt stronger as the run went on and ran the 2nd half with more ease then the first 3.5 (and faster without pushing). Learning to deal with the heavy legs pretty well and realize that my body will need some time to adjust to the consistent miles and effort. The body is holding up remarkably well and I’m actually starting to lose some weight. This morning was the first time in a while where I have been under 167 (at 165.5) and I’m not “dieting” but trying to be smart about what I put in my body. Hoping that trends continues as well and give myself some wiggle room before I go on vacation in a few weeks.
