After the race, for some reason I just went home instead of doing a cool down. My right leg was tightening up mid-day where the HH injury was. So I ran 5 easy to loosen up. It seems to have helped, but the real test will come tomorrow. If I feel good tomorrow, then perhaps in the future I should both run a short cool down immediately after races and run a few easy miles later in the afternoon (for shorter races)?
