Notes
Great chilly afternoon run. From 141 I made it around Bray Valley, up Goat Peak and Whiting before it got too dark for trails. Instead of returning along the rest of the Mt. Tom escarpment, I came back down and took the road. In the twilight on the road back, majestic shadowy forms of 4 or 5 deer bounded across the pavement less than 50 feet in front of me, they seemed huge in the dusk.
