Notes
Not really what i was hoping for. I ran the first 6 or so miles on a pretty good pace (5:30, 5:32, 5:35, 5:42, 5:49, 5:34) and it fell apart pretty quickly after that. Mile 7 was long and i lost focus mentally when i looked down to see a 6:52 mile. Never really recovered after that. My hip and both hamstrings were killing me and i let it get in my head. I finally stopped to stretch at mile 9 for a few seconds and Mark caught up to me. I ran with him for about a mile and some really old tall bald guy passed us and i got really angry. I picked out the guy furthest away in front of me that i could see and started sprinting to catch him. I passed a lot of guys from 10-12 and cruised it in the last mile. Back to the drawing board.
