Notes
Easy run out from Button Bay.
Button Bay is so named because the clay soils along shore aggregate around the thin-stemmed reeds emerging from the lake shores. Shallow waters + isolated/protected bay made for perfect conditions for the clay-aggregates to form. As the reeds die, they decayed out from the center of the little disc-shaped aggregates leaving little buttons along the shore line. Most have been collected and taken away by people, but there are probably some hidden around.
