Notes
Not bad at all. I was pretty unclear about what I wanted to/should do today with the race being cancelled. I got up at around 4:15 and drove to Barre before turning around. Got home at 6:30 or so and slept for another couple of hours. I didn't really have the day I wanted to. Took it pretty easy and got back to Burlington around 2:30 and was out the door by 3pm. I wanted to do a 10k on the track, but once I started it became clear that I just didn't have the stamina to hit the pace I started at (4:57) so I decided to do 2x5k with a 10 minute jog between.
For the 1st 5k I hit :

In the end I couldn't tell if I should be happy or not. I thought that today I'd be capable of running a 31:15 or so. I wonder if I'd been in a race and hadn't had the awful sleep and stressful morning if I would have been able to run those paces without the rest interval. I got home and felt more like I had done a workout than I had just raced, so that was pretty promising.
