I was bummed to have to cut my afternoon run short. I was leading a bird walk and tried to sneak in as much running as I could before it started, but only had time for about 4.5. I could've run for ever though. I have only been taking protein in on workout days, but I've decided to start doing that every day to hopefully help with my recovery as it seems like I'm doing fine with mileage, but not as well with recovery.
