Easy running in the only direction I haven't gone yet. This direction took me to a nice park which I might explore a little more tomorrow. I was only in it for about ten minutes but I finally got some soft surface out of it. Took things very easy today aside from five 15 second surges I threw in. It really is a sight out here with the smoke from the lake cleared. Before the lake looked like it had no end and that was pretty cool. Now with the smoke cleared, you can see directly across to the mountains on the other side and its pretty awe inspiring.
On another note, pretty excited about the support I'm seeing in my running crews. Urbana's got more people than ever showing up during the no contact week. Glad to see them all pushing to transform their summer goals to season achievements. IL Elite seems to be as strong as its been. A lot of work being put in for Berlin and Chicago. Even with GLR, it feels like we haven't come together for something like this since NIRCA 2011. Excited to see what happens for both groups.
