Notes
Raining 68 degrees South wind 17 G 23.
I was still stuffed up recovering from a cold, breathe right strips helped.
Head winds the whole race made it tough, Chenoweth and I took turns leading into the wind until the hill at mile 7.
We both caught a few runners on the hill but he pulled away. I wish I would have known that Demmel, whom I had passed at mile 11 had run a 4:23 mile a month ago. I should have pushed it harder the final 2.4 miles.
1:08:57: Gun time
1:08:56: Chip time
Goal: Sub 1:08, but with that head wind I was happy sub 1:10, sub 1:09 was GREAT!
