Goal was to run 2 x 10 min + 5 min to get to 3 mi. Ran the first 10 min segment -- actually felt ok (was not "struggling mightily" until after 1 mile (8:40). After that it was a struggle to complete the final 80 seconds. Felt better than last "run" but decided to take shirt off. 4 minutes into this next segment I really started to struggle -- I was at Morrison behind the mall and about to run up to Sharon -- that hill was brutal! And about 100 yards later I had no choice to stop as was literally dying (difficult to put one foot in front of another) -- this was at 16:45 (sweating profusely). Then ran down Sharon and up to Whole Foods to grab my other shoes (running up Fairview felt like a struggle). And then the final 5+ minutes down Fairview and a lap around Phillips Pl (left foot hurt over the final 6 minutes). Hurt at same intensity later (6 on a 10 scale & heel was tender but fortunately did not "redline" to where I could not walk).

The level that I struggle is incredible (there is no transference of the 6x day I cycled each week?).
