Injury Recovery Run
Severely injured myself after fainting last Thur - on crutches thru the weekend and then able to walk. Toes are all black & blue, right ankle severely swollen, strained right LCL, still difficult to put on my right shoe as foot is still really swollen. Pain in area underneath ankle. Trying not to run a lot of sharp turns to take stress off of LCL & right ankle.
Ran in/around Phillips Pl. Started on hotel side & ran three figure 8 loops (mi 1) & then looped around again then down PF Changs to other side into small lot for 1.5x loops out exit/in exit 1x loop of small lot (mi 2) & out exit reverse loop of RH & then stopped by Limani at 2.35 mi (actually ran 4x the distance of what I attempted on Tue - had no conception of pace, felt better vs Tue where I felt really weak). Walked for 2-3 min, took shirt off. Looped RH & then up Fairview left on Ashley left on Sharon for120m (mi 3) & looped back on Sharon looped around Fairview intersection up Sharon left on Ashley then down & right on Fairview down hill to entrance into Phillips Pl (mi 4) & in entrance around island & back to Limani to finish (felt better vs Tue & actually felt terrible thru most of this segment but felt more relaxed towards the end).
