Goal was to run a Set: 4 x (1k, jog 2:30, 1/4 mi, jog 4:30)

Actual: ran these in the N White Plains train parking lot. Ran the 1k (where I exerted much more effort than what I should to run 8 min pace. As I jogged I felt my right hamstring tweaking around, and then when I started the 1/4 mi felt pain/tightness blast out in my right hamstring & I was done. For whatever reason this right hamstring strain will not heal? So ended up slow jogging out of train station parking lot up Bronx River Trail left on Virginia Rd past gas station into adjacent corp parking lot (mi .75 thru 1.75mi - stopped raining but got really windy & ran into a very strong headwind & trying to dodge puddles, hamstring pain & tightness under control), looped around parking lot left on Virginia Rd crossed Parkway right on trail right on Fisher to Parkway (1.75mi thru 2.75 mi - began to feel more confident in jogging & keeping this hamstring strain under control, tailwind also helped), then ran down Fisher into parking lot running fr side to side up the lower lot, down the lower lot & back up the lower lot to the tunnel (2.75mi -3.75 - felt stronger & hamstring bothered me less). Walked to other side & up street, did some drills, resumed & felt much tighter & much worse & slowly jogged back to Orchard St (final segment).
