Notes

The plan was 25 minutes of fartlek (60-120s) in the middle with 1.5x recovery, but I decided to do something a bit lower volume and different. I saw a tweet about doings 10-60 step reps with equal recovery (in steps) and thought that would be a pretty interesting way to do a workout. I did way fewer reps and did 10-60 in increments on 5 steps and then 60-10 back down. Rest felt pretty short for most of these and I had no idea how fast I was running because I don't know distance in the park and wasn't lapping my watch. The miles I was doings reps averaged 6:20, so I guess I was running decently fast between the shuffle jog recoveries. Pretty hot day but it didn't bother me much for some reason.
