Recovery done right. Big weekend with not enough sleep so really made sure to ease into this one. Gosh dang trails are closed MWF for hunting season as of Saturday, goshdangit. Had to make do with the roads. They have decent shade but for some reason they cut down a LOT of trees on one side close to the navy base... was like a whole new road, not in a good way though. Didn't want to be faster than 7:20 at all but when I saw 7's split I was like eh feels fine, let's just roll with that. By that time the sun was behind some clouds so that probably helped too.
