Notes
I found myself taking the first part of this especially gingerly. I guess my feet were especially sensitive, or at least I was afraid they were. Unlike during the race, I was keenly aware of my ankle. It felt stiff and awkward, and sure enough, after the race it was swollen and a bit sore. I even took an aspirin right after the run, which I haven't been doing since going BF.
And who let all the cars out? People are supposed to be in bed at 5:30 am. They slowed me down, shined in my eyes, gassed me, and degraded the aesthetic of my run.
There were nice moments, though. The sky was so beautiful that I actually stopped to gaze at it at a dark place by Holmes Lake.
