Notes

I tried something new today, I have some mask "frames/brackets" that gives you some space between your mask and mouth. I bought them in case an outside mask mandate was ever instituted but never tried them until today. It definitely helped my breathing feel more natural. My buff still froze in front of my mouth but it wasn't touching me anymore. The main problem remains though, I am used to wiping my running nose and spitting while running and that is still a problem with a buff on.

I finally got my warmest running pants out today and they are as great as I remember. On the other hand, today was the first time my Brooks hat failed to keep my ears warm while running into the wind.

Otherwise, I nearly got hit by 3 cars today, and by nearly I mean that 3 cars weren't looking when they accelerated from a stop and I just needed to stop first. I suppose it's reasonable to think that no one expected a runner out today, but I think the main reason was that it was rush hour and I was running on main streets.

That concludes my longer-than-average note that probably isn't too interesting to others (or perhaps even myself whenever I reread this).
