Notes
I convinced Naomi to bike next to me for for long run and her coldest ride. It was a beautiful morning, cool and sunny and no wind. Since Naomi was riding, we skipped my usual shortcut, which was nice 5 miles in when I remembered and was a half mile further than expected. With Naomi's encouragement, I decided to go for the end of the MKT (where it meets the Katy Trail), which meant 14 miles. We stopped and I had a gel at halfway.
I continued to feel strong and the gel helped my hesitancy. I could tell my hips and groin would be complaining later but it was never a painful run. A slight suffer going up the final hill and my longest run in a while is done.
