Ah yes, I do enjoy the trail run Sundays after the race Saturdays (Which I've done a good amount recently in Decorah). This time with the usual suspects and some new ones: Hero, Emma, Otis, Drew and Rebel. Palisades, as usual, was engaging and fun, even more so with the wet conditions. Descending on the steep side got me remember when I was more of a reckless adventure runner than a competitive runner.
Thought I'd be more sore today with all of the slippy and sliding in the race yesterday, but feeling pretty good. Hopefully no injuries pop up while I'm not running.
