Temp 57 Wind 10 mph.
1:30:00 @ Easy Effort. Plan is to completely empty the tank this morning, then take 48 hours off running while stuffing my pie hole with all the quality calories I can stomach. Bike for recovery Tuesday, then begin the final push towards 5/7/11 on Wednesday morning.
Lessons to take forward from yesterday: (1) Have to get acclimated to warmer temperatures...not much control over that one, (2) could very well be a windy day on 5/7, need to build at least another couple of seconds into mile pace cushion @ 12K effort...no holes in the training, (3) need to raise the racing IQ at least another 5 points...focus on purpose and execution of each workout...and eat lots of fish.
