Temp 55 Wind 5 mph.
Nice morning for the CBEM co-founders to throw down some quality HM and 5K training. Temps warmed into 60s and breeze picked up by end. Standard warm-up of jogging, drills, and striders. Total of 5.16 miles in 44:52.
Split for workouts. Mine is 2 x 20:00 minutes and 1 x 10:00 minutes at HM effort with 3:00 minute intervals. Will practice fueling and hydration plan for MSCHM during intervals.
#1 -- Splits of 6:51 / 6:49 / 6:20 (6:46) for 2.94 miles at 6:49.
#2 -- Splits of 6:49 / 6:52 / 6:29 (6:37) for 2.95 miles at 6:46.
#3 -- Splits of 6:34 / 3:26 (6:35) for 1.52 miles at 6:34.
Tired legs, but felt like money. Cool down of 1.37 miles in 13:28. Ten cents for both of us. Ready to do some Arkansas racing.
