20/40/20 Aerobic Run. Not happy throughout Tuesday with the way the legs were resonding to morning run. Added to that by eating myself into oblivion at lunch and supper. Lucky, my weapons of choice were mainly pasta and veggies. Gave up and sacked out at 8:00 pm. Sluggish at wake up, but important workout to do. Stretch out and get down to business. Warm-up jog to the track and surge two straights. 2.35 miles.

First ten and last 8:00ish of 3/4s effort on the track. Middle is loops on the ridge in The Orchards. Cover 5.63 miles (Average Pace = 7:07). Out fast on the track. Check Garmin at 5:00 minutes and running at 7:00 flat pace. Too fast a start for today's duration and terrain. Check down, run the last 35:00 on feel and focus on managing effort and efficiency. Splits: 7:03 / 7:18 / 7:15 / 7:11 / 7:01 / 4:12 (6:42). Dime and penny between 20:00 and 25:00. Took a couple of minutes to get back on task after stopping. Couple of the last five minutes in the southern region of tempoland. Leg fatigue from recent volume late, and was having trouble holding it together coming out of the last few turns on the track.

Cool-down of 2.42 miles. Another dime to bring today's haul to 21 cents. Once again, it just goes to show that no matter how crappy things are, there is no reason not to lock in and knock out a quality 10+ mile workout.
