Temp 31 (WC 24) Wind 7 mph.

Recovery Run on soft surface after yesterday's race. Goals of 5 miles at BELOW 140 Ave. HR. Let pace fall where it may. Was able to bring it in under 10:00 min. miles. Probably should have made myself slow it down more than I did...closer to an Easy Run. As always, HR spikes in first .25 mile...I must just get really excited about getting to do this stuff??

Little effects from racing on concrete. Shins tingle, but only when cold air hit them. Minor discomfort on couple places on the feet, but "discomfort", not "pain".
