Interval Workout. 5 x 5:00 Minutes @ 5K - 10K Effort w/ 3:00 Minute Recovery Jogs. Nothing cheap today, darkness, hills, heat and humidity. Expecting to hit somewhere between 6:15s and 6:30s.

Rep -- (Pace)

#1 -- (6:15) First lap on track, out the gate and headed for the street. Crossed paths with Paul S. coming into parking lot. May have been borderline too fast for conditions based on effort it took to run it. Have screwed up Garmin setting and displaying lap time rather than average pace. On feel from here on out.

#2 -- (6:20) Hills in The Orchards.

#3 -- (6:26) More hills in The Orchards. Starting to feel it.

#4 -- (6:27) Out to the Williams Addition. Steeper hills, but hold previous rep pace.

#5 -- (6:21) Start at West Lane School and head towards home. Mostly uphill, but finish solid.

Will take it. Nothing cheap. Would have liked #3 and #4 to have been closer to 6:15 than to 6:30, but they weren't. Like the fast old man from down south said, "People around here may be running in this weather, but they're not training." This one was "training".
